From the firm's central location in the historic Terry-Taylor House, two blocks from the Chatham County Justice Center in Pittsboro, we provide a wide range of essential legal services that solve day-to-day problems facing every community: marriage, child custody, and divorce, estate planning and administration, and traffic matters.

Marie Hopper and Robert Cummings founded Hopper Cummings as a general practice law firm to serve the people of Chatham County, the community they have served for nearly twenty years. Their mission is to honor and respect each client, help achieve resolutions that fit unique needs, and obtain the best outcomes for each individual's circumstances. Marie and Robert are passionate about providing reliable advice, support, and service to our neighbors from Siler City, Bear Creek, Moncure, Fearrington Village, Bynum, and all points in between from their centrally located offices in the county seat of Pittsboro.
